Our History
Chaseview Veterinary Clinic has evolved from a long-established veterinary practice that has been serving the people and animals of Ross-on-Wye and the surrounding area since the early 1900s. It started near the Tennis Club then moved to Henry Street and when those premises became too cramped, we purchased our present site in Hildersley in 1995. This gave us the space and opportunity to expand and avoided the difficulty of trotting horses up and down Gloucester Road and the hold ups of various vehicles arriving with sheep at lambing time. It also gave sufficient parking for the increasing number of clients and staff. We were one of the first practices to open a Hydrotherapy Clinic for dogs in 2005.
The practice has adapted to the growth in small animal practice with all the new treatments available, while maintaining our interest in the farming and equine side of our work. What has not changed is our determination to remain as one of the few independent vets providing an excellent first opinion service for our clients, 24 hours a day, at Chaseview.
